Jeremy’s Story
Dr Jeremy Pont, went to school in Brisbane before completing both his Bachelors and Masters degree in Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney.
After living and working in Peru, Brazil and Bolivia, he moved back to practice in the Northern Territory ( a Territorian by birth).
He met his Norwegian “to be wife” while mountain climbing in Argentina and moved to Norway to allow her to finish her training as a specialist surgeon. Jeremy has been living and working in Lillesand, in southern Norway for nearly 10 years before he and his family decided to move back to Australia and settle in Townsville.
In addition to his Bachelor and Master’s degrees, over the last 15 years Jeremy has also completed further study in;
• Applied Functional Science
• Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
• American board certified in Pain Management
• Completed Fellowship in Regenerative Medicine
• Completed Fellowship in Interventional Spine Management
• Is currently undertaking his PhD investigating the use of adipose derived stem cells and their use in treating degenerative disc disease.
He is also a lecturer and tutor in regenerative medicine, interventional spine procedures and manual spine procedures ( non-surgical).
